I often remind myself and those around me, “You already have everything you need inside of you.” That mantra reflects my approach to therapy and life: healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about reconnecting with the wisdom and wholeness we already carry. As a biracial Samoan woman, I’m guided by teu le va — a Samoan principle meaning “nurture the space between us” — which grounds my work in connection, respect, and healing relationships.
I recently earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee, and LMSW, pursuing LCSW licensure. With over 20 years of experience as a hairstylist and salon owner, I’ve witnessed how powerful it is to create spaces where people feel truly seen and valued. In my practice, I center you as the expert of your own story and draw from approaches such as CBT, DBT, IFS, somatic therapies, and psychodynamic therapy to customize support that fits your unique needs.
Wayfinding, an art of travel practiced by my Samoan ancestors, relied on bird flight patterns, whale migrations, the stars, and ocean currents to both venture outward and return home. I see therapy as a form of wayfinding through life. Each of us is a complex, resilient human being navigating barriers that can keep us from fully stepping into who we truly are. My role is to walk alongside you as we clear those obstacles together, so you can reconnect with your authentic self and learn to trust your own inner compass.
