Madeline is a Masters Level Clinical Social Work intern who believes that people are inherently good, and that context matters deeply in understanding who we are. She brings warmth, curiosity, and radical empathy to her work, creating a space where clients can feel safe to be fully themselves and explore their experiences without judgment.

Madeline is particularly drawn to working with adults and neurodivergent adults who want to better understand themselves and, through that understanding, create richer and more meaningful lives. Her approach is grounded in humanistic and psychoanalytic perspectives, with an appreciation for the ways our relationships, childhood experiences, environments, and unconscious patterns shape who we become. She is also deeply interested in the mind-body connection and the questions that arise as we seek to better understand ourselves. She believes that a successful therapeutic relationship can allow us to envision new possibilities for how we relate to others, pursue our passions, and move through the world.

Before becoming a social work graduate student, Madeline studied environmental design and architecture at the University of Colorado Boulder, with a minor in ceramics. Her background continues to shape her curiosity about the ways our environments influence us. Originally from Northern Michigan, she feels most at home in nature and spends her time painting, reading, camping, hiking, listening to live music, and enjoying time with friends.
